It’s official, I’m registered for the AIDS Walk Los Angeles. The Los Angeles AIDS Walk began in 1984, and has since grown into the largest AIDS fundraising event in California.
Since 1985, the Walk has drawn over a half-million participants who have collectively raised more than $66 million, and now I’m one of them. I’ve recently been feeling strongly about getting out in the community and being constructive, so I’m very excited to participate and encourage the people that are living with AIDS every day. I am often so caught up building communities online that I forget there is a world outside that needs help too.
If you would like to help me raise funds for AIDS awareness you can click the donation link below.
I would like to encourage you to participate also! It’s a 10k walk beginning and ending at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. Get out, meet new people, do something that will benefit your heart and the well-being of others.
